Take a look at Indiana's championship rings, which feature a Cignetti quote (Featured)

Yesterday Curt Cignetti and the defending national champions held their spring game in Bloomington, and also put a bookmark into the proudest chapter of Hoosiers football in the team's history by watching defensive coordinator Bryant Haines get his Broyles Award delivered before the focus shifts to their summer schedule and attacking fall camp with the same focus and tenacity that has quickly became a staple of Cignetti-coached programs.

Today, the Hoosiers players and staff were presented with their championship rings for winning the Big Ten title, the Rose Bowl, the Peach Bowl, their College Football Playoff rings, and national championship rings.

Each of the features tells a story, so here's a quick breakdown of some of the cool features of each of them.

BIG TEN RING:
13 pieces of red confetti to represent the 13-0 record in Big Ten play
Brick Background to pay homage to Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Rivalry Trophies - The Old Brass Spitton and Old Oaken Bucket are featured on the inside of the ring
Earned Not Given - motto etched onto the outward-facing side of the band, the same motto players see on the way to practice daily

ROSE BOWL RING:
Rose Bowl Champions prominently featured on the face of the ring
1st represents the first Rose Bowl win in school history
3 red stones - 1 for the program's first CFP win, 1 for the Rose Bowl victory, and 1 for being the first and only top-4 seed to win a CFP game

PEACH BOWL:
The unique pattern of Mercedes Benz Stadium roof is displayed on the inside of the ring

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RINGS:

CFP Trophy - Prominently displayed with an ice football stone
Scores of each postseason game are laid out on the inside
Reversible centerpiece - the stone in the center can be flipped to feature red or ice coloring

Those are pretty standard for the most part, but some of these details on the inside of the National Championship Ring are next level.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RING:

-Football on the 15-yard line, the location of Jamari Sharpe's championship sealing interception
-Football on the 12-yard line, the location of Fernando Mendoza's iconic 4th and 5 touchdown run
-Miami sand was taken from the beaches and is encased with the IU Champions logo on the inside of the ring

Last, but certainly not least, there's the band featuring a Curt Cignetti quote. They had more than a few to pick from since his arrival in Bloomington two seasons ago now, but opted to go with: "It's pretty simple. All we gotta do is win 'em all."

Take a look.
